We are not just part of nature, we are nature. Classes are offered seasonally to be in harmony with nature. Practicing outdoors provides a special opportunity to integrate with the rhythms of nature so that our energy is balanced and enhanced, rather than depleted from going against the flow of nature.
I teach yoga as a practice for whole-hearted, embodied living. Sadhana is a spiritual, therapeutic practice that integrates meditation, mantra, breathwork, mindful movement, energy balancing, philosophy, and reflection in order to cultivate awareness and presence on and off the mat.
The Sanskrit word yoga means union. Sadhana connects you with your body's wisdom, and with the cosmic intelligence, so you feel grounded, centered, and situated in yourself. Practices also offer opportunity for self-reflection and community-building to support integration and connection.
